Item Title
C-13 Continue the Department of Children and Families (DCF) contract to be served by the Multi-agency Network for Severely Emotionally Disturbed Students (SEDNET) Grant for July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011.
Issue/Rationale
The SEDNET Grant serves Clay, Nassau, and Duval Counties. Children and Families will provide funding for parent and professional training, data collection, coordination, etc. for the Multi-Disciplinary Team/Treatment Review Team.
The contract provides extra services to emotionally disturbed children and children at risk of serious emotional problems.
Recommended Action
Approve continuation of DCF contract for 2010-2011 school year.
Financial Impact
Department of Children and Families will provide additional state funds to the SEDNET project. There is no cost to the School District of Clay County.
